Governance
A Board of Directors governs the Oregon State Pharmacy Association.
The president-elect is elected by the membership and serves for three years: one year each as president-elect, president, and past-president.
Representatives of Hospital pharmacies, Independent Owner practices, Long-Term Care and Consultant, Oregon State University College of Pharmacy, Pacific University School of Pharmacy, and Chain Employees are either appointed by the OSPA Board or selected by their respective practice organizations.
Representatives from the Northern Region (Portland Tri-County area), Central Willamette Valley (Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties), Southern Oregon, and Central/Eastern Oregon are elected.
The Executive Director of OSPA and a student representative from the OSU College of Pharmacy and the Pacific University School of Pharmacy serve as nonvoting members of the Board.
