Committees
Committees are the lifeblood of the association. They serve as forums for discussion of important issues, formulation of association policy, planning association activities and a host of other functions necessary for OSPA to fulfill its mission. Committees "in formation" are new committees identified by the OSPA Board as high-priority needs of the association. Please consider giving a bit of your time and talents to one of the following currently active committees:
Convention Planning
Develop CE content, social activities and all other aspects of the OSPA Annual Convention, in coordination with the OSPA staff.
Statewide Pharmacy Coalition
This all-pharmacy group serves as an ad-hoc legislative committee, with a primary focus on building consensus on pharmacy practice issues. The Coalition plays a critical role in shaping the legal and regulatory environment for the future practice of pharmacy in Oregon.
New & Future Practitioners (in formation)
This committee will develop programs and activities of particular interest to recent graduates and those currently enrolled in the Oregon State University College of Pharmacy and Pacific University School of Pharmacy.
Membership
Oversee and participate in the recruitment of new members from among those who have a vested interest in pharmacy, thereby helping the association to develop the human and financial resources necessary to deliver new programs.
Industry Relations Committee
A forum for representatives of pharmaceutical manufacturers to discuss activities, programs and issues of mutual interest to pharmacy and manufacturers. Associate members are especially encouraged to participate in this committee’s work.
